Medical Mission in Puducherry

Puducherry formerly known as Pondicherry, is a union territory of India. It lies in the southern part of the Indian Peninsula. New Medical Centre, a Hospital in Puducherry was our site for the 50 surgery Medical Mission which has started from 20th Feb, 2017 and will continue till 27th Feb, 2017. This mission is in partnership with Muthoot Pappachan Foundation. 96 cleft patients were screened and we are hopeful to provide smiles to over 50 of them. Anesthetists, Surgeons and Medial Support Staff from different states of India are volunteering in this mission.

Smile Story from Siliguri

Jayag & Kanchan were very excited before the birth of Nikhil, but all of their excitement turned into a despair when they heard from the doctors that their son, Nikhil is born with a facial deformity called cleft lip. Ram & Lakshman: Twins with Cleft getting their Smiles Back

During the Mission there were two patients namely Ram & Lakshman, both were 7months old and they truly touched our team by their captivating bright eyes and playful nature. They were twins from a small village Andurwadi, in Bidar district of Karnataka. Their parents Vijay Kumar and Shashikala were very upset, when they saw their first babies born with cleft lip deformity. Karnataka Mission- 90 Smiles Delivered

It is with great honour we announce the results of the Mission at Karnataka, India that took place from January 23 – 27, 2017. This was our 1st Mission in partnership with Muthoot Pappachan Foundation at ESIC Medical College & Hospital and overall the 3rd Mission in Karnataka.
